Hello!
Before I start making my next piece of jewelry, I usually sit at my office with some ginger tea and think about the colors I would like to use. Once I have an idea, I look through my gemstones and start choosing some items for my next piece. I like to spread out all my jewelry pieces on my desk for some ideas. This helps me decide what color scheme to go with for my next piece of jewelry.
There are so many colors to choose from when making your first piece of jewelry. And because there are so many, I sometimes have difficulties choosing some. The colors of seasons have really helped me narrow down what colors I should use in my next piece. I usually like to choose colors that go well with the current season. For example, for the fall season, I like to use shades of browns and oranges. I also like to look through my jewelry pieces to get some inspiration. If you’re ever stuck on choosing a color, the color spectrum wheel is a great resource to use! It has helped me a lot when choosing color schemes for my own pieces.
Tip of the day: Don’t be afraid to use color block in your jewelry.
